Here's Our Top 15 List Of How To Feel Joy & Spread Love On Your Staycation:
Jump Up, Jump Up, and Get Down!

Get that rebounder out of the closet! Few exercises produce such an immediate smile as jumping on a trampoline does. Maybe it’s the inner child coming out to play. Not only does it increase cardiovascular function, but rebounding uses the forces of acceleration and deceleration which impacts every cell in the body in a unique way.
Here are some of the benefits:
Boosts lymphatic drainage and immune function
Great for skeletal system and increasing bone density
Helps improve digestion
More than twice as effective as running without the extra stress on the ankles and knees

I've always said spend some quality time cooking together, and your stove won’t be the only thing getting hot!

The feeling of love that comes rushing through my heart when I'm in the creative flow of preparing a sexy meal is undeniable, only exceeded by the experience of the co-creation of a decadent meal.
Here are some other reasons to put that apron on (or take it off):
You’ll enjoy quality time together. Some of my favorite memories are being in the kitchen with people I love.
You’ll bond over new experiences. There’s something about learning a new skill with someone that tightens the bond of the hearts.
You’ll learn how to communicate better and build a team. With an activity that requires timely coordination to achieve a common goal, communication is key!
It’ll go twice as fast (well, faster)! With two in the kitchen, prep time flies by.
It’s more fun. I love cooking alone, but turn on some music, give me a glass of wine, and put a lover by my side — that’s what I call cooking!

L♥️VE Letters

This is one of my favorite forms of creative expression. From the stationary and stamp to the envelope sealed with a kiss💋
Writing love letters to all the people in my life fills my heart. The simple act of letting them know that I'm thinking of them, what about them I'm grateful for, and how much they mean to me fills my heart with joy.
♥️
Words of appreciation are a simple, yet often overlooked love language. Take the time today to handwrite your love to those you care about... it will become a memento for the people in your life to feel your presence, heart and soul.
Peace Out & Paddle Out

As if I have to even nudge any of my surfer friends to get out there, but for those of you with boards that have been sitting in your the garage waiting for "time" to go surfing,
GO GET 'EM!! Time in nature is heart opening, grounding and joyful.
Journey

What better time than now to tap into the other realm. Whatever your medium might be, let go and connect. It's waiting for you just on the other side of the veil.

Arts & Crafts

Ok, so you don’t need to be a Picasso to tap into your creative flow. Making art of any kind allows our uniqueness to shine and lets others see through a window into our soul. Don’t be shy, let that inner child play. I like to put on some good music, pour myself a glass of wine, set the lighting just right and let myself go!
Before I know it, I've lost all sense of time and an expression has been formed, and I feel satisfied with my efforts.
Rock Paper Scissors!

Let's get old school and pull out the board games that bring nostalgic joy into our homes. Here are a few of our favorites:
Monopoly, Backgammon, Go Fish, A Barrel Of Monkeys, Texas Hold'em, Chutes & Ladders, and one of my all-time favorites,
Hide and Go Seek!
And They Called It Puppy Love...

Have you been considering adopting a pet?
Have you been longingly eyeing your neighbors as they parade by with their furry friends?
Well, now is a great time to foster a pet! Think of it like dating—you can take some time to get to know them, and if you fall in love, they can be yours!
And truly, who doesn't want unconditional love all the while being a hero to a sweet, cuddly friend?

Return to the Classics

Enjoy disconnected time from devices. Instead of binging on Netflix, let's turn to the classics. Consider dusting off the great works sitting on your shelves such as The Grapes of Wrath, Of Mice and Men, and my personal favorite,
The Catcher In The Rye.

Take the COLD Plunge!

Cold plunges are part of the Wim Hof Method and help reduce stress, improve alertness & boost your immune system.
To make your own ice bath at home, fill up two trays worth of ice and take 5-6 filled water bottles that have been placed in the freezer for 30 minutes (or in the fridge for a couple hours). Fill up your tub with cold water then add the ice -and/or- cold water bottles.
(I like to visualize my body being rebooted and recharged while submerged in the cold!)
Be of Service

One of the best ways to cultivate love and happiness is to be of service to others. You can support your community during this time by offering a meal delivery to the elderly or those at risk, or through a donation: https://californiavolunteers.ca.gov/get-involved/covid-19/ I also encourage you to support small businesses during this time by continuing to order takeout or by buying gift cards to local shops to be used once they reopen.
